During this week I had a little break with ONLY work, but thursday I’m already leaving for Frankfurt, to the annual bookfair.
On thursday I will only visit the In-crowd of my Colleagues of the Illustrator’s Organisation, but from friday on I will be a the fair. Mostly I guess I will be around my publisher Carlsen’s booth (hall 3.0 booth G84). On friday there will be a public discussion at the Graphic Novel Panel, from 4-5 pm, Forum International Dialog hall 5.1 booth A 128, under the guidance of the Goethe Institute Indonesia , with two indonesian artists Hikmat Darmawan and Chris Lie, Stefan Lomp and myself.
Saturday is the big day:
At 11 am there is a signing session at the booth of Carlsen. Then around 3.30 pm there will be a public reading and a little conversation with Mathias Wieland on stage in the reading tent Agora. After that there will be another signing session there.
In the evening at 8.30 pm there will be another conversation on stage with Mathias, my editor Christopher Tauber and me. Mathias will also read from my book. All this takes place in the bar Feinstaub.
After that there will be another signing session at the club Tiefengrund, which will eventually evolve to a great Sixties nighter, under the control of the talented hands of Andreas Mandrysch and Christof Sonnenberg. They both were inspired by the music in the book while packing their record bags, so this should be a night to remember. On sunday there will be one last signing session from 1 to 2 pm, at the Carlsen booth. Exciting times, I hope to meet some of you guys there.
